Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
BizApps Studio ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information through our website and when you contact us. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, and, where it applies, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.
1. Information we collect
When you use our contact form or email us, we collect the information you choose to give us:
- your name and work email address
- your company name
- the solution area you are interested in, and your message
We do not ask for sensitive information, and we ask that you do not include it in your message.
2. Information collected automatically
- Theme preference: if you switch between light and dark mode, your browser stores that choice on your own device. It is not sent to us.
- Fonts: our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google.
- Server logs: our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and pages visited, for security and maintenance.
We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy.
3. How we use your information
- to respond to your enquiry and arrange a workshop or meeting
- to provide information about our services that you have asked for
- to keep records of our communications with you
- to meet our legal obligations
We will not sell your personal information or use it for unrelated purposes without your consent.
4. Who we share it with
We only share your information with service providers who help us run our business, such as:
- Formspree, which processes our website contact form and forwards enquiries to our email inbox
- our email, website hosting and IT providers
- our team members in Australia and India who handle your enquiry
Some of these providers store data overseas, including in the United States. Where we disclose information overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is handled in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
5. How we keep it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls and secure, encrypted services. We keep enquiry information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, and then delete or de-identify it.
6. Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
7. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact:
- Australia: the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au)
- India: the Data Protection Board of India
